The Canadian Federation of Chiropractic Regulatory Boards
(CFCRB) has established common standards for the recognition
of all Chiropractic specialists. Accordingly, as of January 2006, the
eligibility requirements for a candidate wishing to sit for examination
to obtain Fellowship status to the Canadian Chiropractic
College of Rehabilitation Sciences (CCRS(C)) is as follows:
1. Complete 300 hours of classroom instructions in a postgraduate
program offered by a Canadian Council on
Chiropractic Education (CCEC) accredited chiropractic
college in chiropractic rehabilitation, the content of which is
approved by the Education Committee of the CCRS(C), or
an equivalent content which has been ratified and approved
by the CCRS(C), and
2. Show an advanced level of proficiency by obtaining a grade
of at least 80% on all module and Fellowship examinations,
and
3. Write and submit to the Rehabilitation College four (4),
peer-review quality, rehabilitation related, book reviews, and
4. Write and submit to the Rehabilitation College four (4),
peer-review quality, rehabilitation related, case reports, and
5. Write and submit to the Rehabilitation College one (1),
peer-review quality, rehabilitation related, literature review
manuscript, and
6. Completed and submit to the Rehabilitation College one
(1) research project acceptable for publication to a peerreviewed
journal.
